Susteed

I designed and launched a refined Squarespace website for Susteed, a sustainability and management consultancy. The work included strategy, branding, copywriting support, and a client-editable structure.

Summary

I helped Susteed define, design, and launch a consultancy website for senior experts in sustainability, management, coaching, and business development. The project started with many ideas but no clear website direction. I led the discovery process, helped the client narrow the scope, created the website brief, designed the brand foundation, and implemented the final site in Squarespace so the client could easily edit copy and images after launch. The result is a simple, elegant landing page that communicates trust, seniority, and sustainability expertise.

My Role

The client's challenge wasn't execution, it was scope. We started with many directions and no clear website. My job was to make decisions with them, not just for them.

I led discovery conversations to identify what the site actually needed to do: communicate credibility, present services clearly, and make it easy for potential clients to reach out. That conversation narrowed the scope to a single-page structure — Home, Services, About, Contact — and cleared the way to move fast.

On the brand side, I designed the logo, defined the color palette and typography, and set the visual direction around sustainability, maturity, and trust. For the hero section, I created an AI-generated video to give the site a distinct, polished feel without a production budget.

Platform choice was also a product decision: the client wanted to manage copy and images independently after launch, so Squarespace was the right call over a custom build. I handled the full setup: template customization, domain and hosting configuration, and structure, so they could take ownership immediately.
